Comfort-temple configuration
The rounded rectangular lens openings are linked by two fine metal bridge elements. Broad, flat temple ends distinguish the side profile from cable-temple aviators; the seller specifically notes their clear, unyellowed appearance. Green lenses set off the gold-tone metal. The recorded 1/10 12K GF stamp describes gold-filled construction, while 5½ is retained as a size-related inscription rather than being promoted into a factory model name.
Collector’s note
The 5½ inscription is retained as a marking rather than presented as a verified model name. The temple construction and bridge stamps provide the strongest points for identifying this individual example.
Condition & presentation
The seller reports clean, unyellowed comfort-temple ends. Green sun lenses are fitted. Please refer to the photographs for surface detail; additional close-ups are available. No case is included.
