Discuss this commission →A request is an enquiry, not a checkout. Tier budgets include our sourcing and service compensation; no extra completion fee.
From brief to delivery
The details, understood.
Follow the finds.
Start with a comfortable budget and adjust your tier as discoveries emerge. We agree any change in budget, payment or refund before proceeding.
A personal brief.
We agree fit, style, condition and preferences before Argentavis Group LLC issues an invoice with line-itemed product information. Particular models and historically scarce frames depend on availability.
Included in your commission.
Sourcing, frames, agreed restoration if needed, documentation, and your choice of clear or tinted plano lenses. Applicable US taxes are included; US shipping is complimentary. New prescription lenses, fitting and optician services are excluded. International shipping, duties and taxes are the client’s responsibility.
You choose each treasure.
We present each frame’s value and details for your approval before deducting the agreed amount from your budget. Negotiation takes place within the original buy; some frames have firm pricing. Pass on a find and we keep looking.
Delivered as discovered.
Each approved frame ships when ready, following agreed restoration, if needed. Receive your treasures as we find them—without waiting for the search to end. The search runs for 60 days from cleared payment. At the deadline, we refund the remaining balance for anything undelivered. If nothing is delivered, you receive a full refund.
Documented with care.
Each frame includes measurements, condition notes, identifying photographs and a record of restoration or replaced parts. Your optician confirms suitability for intended lenses.
A few useful questions.
When will I receive my frames?
Each frame ships as it is discovered, approved by you and ready after agreed restoration, if needed. New treasures arrive throughout the search, as suitable finds emerge; we do not hold them until the deadline. The 60 days are the completion deadline, not a holding period. Timing depends on the finds and agreed restoration, if needed.
How is this different from Frame Finder?
Frame Finder starts with your own budget and a specific model, image or preference. We respond with exact bespoke scope and terms, then an invoice from Argentavis Group LLC with line-itemed product information and a secure payment link. Private Sourcing starts with one of three flexible budget tiers that can change as finds emerge. Neither enquiry authorizes an automated charge.
Does collector-focused mean historically rare?
No. It describes the selection brief: distinctive design, construction, era and condition supported by available evidence. Price does not prove scarcity. No specific maker, grail, market value or appreciation is promised.
What if I decline a proposed frame?
We keep searching within the original 60 days. There is no rejection fee or forced alternative. A change in criteria, budget or deadline needs written agreement. At the deadline, we refund the unfulfilled portion of the commission.
What if only part of the package arrives?
At day 60, we refund the unfulfilled portion of your commission. If nothing has been delivered, you receive a full refund. For partial delivery, the refund is the remaining budget after the amounts you approved for delivered frames; no charge is retained for an undelivered frame.
Can I cancel or return a frame?
Before approving any candidate, you may cancel for a full refund. After an item is approved, we refund the uncommitted balance; any approved item already purchased or restored remains due and is delivered. Delivered frames follow the Society’s Refund & Return Policy and applicable consumer rights. These cancellation terms must be confirmed in the invoice.
Are restoration and lenses included?
Agreed restoration, if needed, is included and disclosed before approval. Replacement parts and lenses already in a vintage frame are recorded. Your choice of clear or tinted plano lenses is included. New prescription lenses, fitting and optician services are excluded.
What happens for international delivery?
International shipping, duties and taxes are your responsibility. We agree the shipping charge and explain known import costs before payment. The invoice specifies the frame subtotal without US sales tax where inapplicable. The deadline is unchanged unless you expressly agree otherwise.
