Fine rims and ornament

The lens openings have a rounded, slightly flattened panto outline, framed by delicate gold-tone metal. Filigree follows the rims and bridge, adding texture where a heavier acetate frame would use mass. Cable temples continue the light construction behind the ears. Gradient lenses are visible in the gallery. The recorded Rodeo name and bridge marking are retained from the seller’s description; the available references do not establish a precise manufacture date.

Collector’s note

The decoration gives the fine metal structure a textured surface. The broad period attribution in the inventory is not a precise date of manufacture.

Condition & presentation

The decorative filigree is visible along the fine rims and bridge. Gradient lenses are fitted. Please refer to the photographs for surface detail; additional close-ups are available. No case is included.

Restoration is carried out with intention by third-party specialists on an as-needed basis, preserving original features and markings as fully as possible. Individual condition notes describe the visible state and any specifically recorded changes.
